Terry Strickland
Executive Manager
Terry Strickland joined the staff at SERIC as Executive Manager in November 2007. Terry is no stranger to the world of maps and graphics, having been a geography teacher for over thirty years before joining the South East Natural Resources Management Board as Community Liaison Officer in 2003 and in recent years, as the project officer responsible for the Board’s Irrigation Efficiency project

Darren Schunke
Senior GIS Officer
Darren has been SERIC’s principal GIS Officer since mid 2003 and has extensive background in applying GIS to natural resource planning. His previous employment in the Northern Territory saw him provide GIS training and support to park rangers for better park management. Darren has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Natural Resource Management and is currently studying towards a Graduate Diploma in GIS.

Tony Hay
GIS Officer / Web Development Officer
Tony moved to the South East in 2006 after completing a Graduate Certificate in GIS from Monash University. He has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from JCU in Townsville, Qld. Within his last role at Dept for Environment and Heritage, Tony developed a geodatabase to manage environmental weed control programs. This role also saw Tony give GIS training and support to operations staff on the use and effectiveness of GPS technology.
