History Repeats: SERIC wins Spatial Excellence Award in 2011.

At the 2011Spatial Excellence Awards dinner held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday August 5, the Industry Award in the People and Community section was presented to SERIC for its nrmFARM project, a web based mapping application developed for the South East Natural Resources Management Board and delivered to landowners via the nrmSPACE.se website.

nrmFARM  is designed to assist landowners in property and record management and utilises a range of tools including imagery.

SERIC Executive Manager, Terry Strickland in accepting the award paid tribute to the support of the SENRMB and in particular the personal interest in web based projects shown by former General Manager, Hugo Hopton and current Commonwealth and State Government Programs manager, Fred Stadter.

Mr. Strickland also thanked SERIC staff, in particular GIS Analyst, Tony Hay and Web Development Officer, Shannaka Beveridge, "To be recognized by colleagues in the industry for excellence is a just reward and I am delighted for Tony and Shannaka, “Mr. Strickland said.
